Lavender by the Bay
Lavender by the Bay is 17-acre, family owned and family operated lavender farm. You can walk through their lavender fields, visit their farm store, and try out their many lavender-based products.
Considered one of the richest habitats in the Northeast, Mashomack Preserve spans over one third of Shelter Island and accounts for 21,000 acres.
Orient Beach State Park
A natural wonderland of waterfront of frontage on Gardiner's Bay. Visitors can swim, kayak, fish on the shore, windsurf, paddle board and hike on all natural trails.
Oysterponds Historical Society
Visit the extraordinary collection of art, manuscripts, and historical objects donated by the local residents whose root date back to the 17th century, and their founding families.
Railroad Museum of Long Island
Dedicated to the restoration, preservation, and interpretation with all railroads that participated in the growth of Long Island. Here you can ride the Long Island Rail Road miniature park train.
