Getting Here

Getting to North Fork Long Island without a car is easy: You can take the Long Island Railroad or the Hampton Jitney. (The Jitney stops right in front of our inn!) However, you will need a car to get around if you want to fully enjoy our area.

If you don't arrive by car, we have arrangements with Enterprise for pick up and drop off. Give us a call, and we'll be happy to assist you in making all necessary arrangements.

My original plan was to stay three nights, but I ended up staying four. This is a lovely 19th century house and the couple who operate it, Wilfred and Veda, know how to run a fine accommodation. Her Caribbean style breakfasts are worth the trip in itself, although I found it rather late for me to have it served at 9:30 am. I guess she would have to start very early in the morning otherwise to put it on the table earlier. My room, while a bit small, was beautifully appointed and the whole place and grounds abound with plants and greenery. Only other item: please tune the piano!

We booked a last minute weekend getaway on the North Fork and were lucky enough to find Arbor View House for our second of two nights. The room was very nice and the breakfast was excellent, but the owners were the highlight. We spent most of the morning chatting with Wilfred - a delightful gentleman with both an inspiring tongue and a thoughtful ear. If you want a cozy B&B with owners who care about your experience then I can't give this a high enough recommendation.
